NAMI hosting meeting at First United Methodist Church Monday

The National Alliance on Mental Illness Support Group is hosting a meeting at the First United Methodist Church at 309 N. Main Street in Mt. Pleasant on Monday, Oct. 29 at 6 p.m.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is a volunteer grass roots organization that works toward advocacy, education, support and public awareness so people and families affected by mental illness can build better lives. NAMI is working toward an affiliation for Henry, Des Moines, Lee, Louisa, Van Buren, Washington, Keokuk and Jefferson counties to bring additional mental health services to the area.
