How will your high school experiences help you in coming years? I feel like my high school experience has helped me become a more well rounded and mature person. It has given me great opportunities that challenged me to get out of my comfort zone and work on my leadership skills.
Fondest memory of high school? My fondest memories of high school were getting to have really meaningful conversations with my friends and teachers. My teachers have some great advice and there were many times that it came in handy.
Which teachers have had the biggest impact on you and why? The teacher that has had the biggest impact on me is definitely Andear Farrier. She is the most intelligent, caring, incredible, and inspiring person I know. She takes the time to get to know her students and is always willing to be helpful in any way she can whether it be English, math, Spanish, or life. She is there to help.
Who is your role model and how did they influence you? My role model is my teacher Andear Farrier. She has taught me so much in school and about life she has helped me become the person I am today. She does so much for so many people and does it all well showing the love of Jesus to those around her. She is so humble and hard working. But most importantly Andrea lives for God and it shows. I hope to be even half of the wonderful person Andrea Farrier is.
What is special about your high school? My school is special because it is on the smaller side. That means that you really get to know all the students, faculty, and staff members. I know that I have made life long friendships at Hillcrest.
If you go back to when you were a freshman, what advice would you give yourself? If I could tell my freshman self a word of advice I would tell myself is to remember that the people I love are people just like I am, and that they are going make mistakes, disappointment me and not always make the right choices not that that’s is okay or that I should just let them keep make those choices the but it is ok to still love them and help them to grow to be better people.
