Louise Unkrich attended the proclamation signing for National Rosie The Riveter Day by Gov. Kim Reynolds at the Iowa State Capitol. Louise Unkrich, Swedesburg, built the B-29 bombers during World War II in Omaha. Louise is the Iowa Rosie The Riveter state director and she and her family are coordinating the National American Rosie The Riveter Association Convention in Bettendorf, on June 7-9, 2019.
