Nellie Oosthoek to turn 90
Nellie Oosthoek is celebrating her 90th birthday on Saturday, April 3. Nellie, known to many as Miss Nellie during the years she helped teach at Agape Land, lived her entire 90 years in Fairfield.
She married her husband Dean on June 25, 1953, and he died on Nov. 19, 2019. They were active members of the Fairfield Foursquare Church for over six decades. Nellie will be celebrating her special day with family and friends at an open house at her home from 1-3 p.m. Saturday. Birthday cards can me mailed to her at 206 C Southgate Cirle, Fairfield, IA. 52556. Cards can also be left in her mailbox at her front door.
