The descendants of Clyde and Essie Morrell Nelson and Will and Harriett Workman Nelson had their triennial reunion Aug. 2-4.

Attendees came from California, Oregon, Texas, North Carolina, Missouri, Illinois and Iowa.

The evening of Aug. 2, 27 attendees met for snacks and visiting at the Birmingham City Park shelter. Diane Lyon was hostess.

Aug. 3, about 80 attended a gathering at the Lacey-Keosauqua State Park Lodge in Keosauqua. Mary and Wayne Skartvedt of Radcliffe and Jean and Wylie Bledsoe of Dubuque hosted the event. After the meal, the afternoon was spent visiting, enjoying the park and getting reacquainted with family members.

Aug. 4, 21 attended a brunch at Hotel Manning in Keosauqua.

The next reunion will be in 2016, and hosts will be Dan and Jonna Dingus of Denmark, Iowa.
