Nelson, Syfert wedding set Saturday in Fairfield

Joe and Sandy Nelson of Fairfield announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sara Nelson, to Kyle Syfert, son of Dennis and Diane Syfert of Birmingham and Bob and Laura Sampson of Drakesville.

The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Fairfield High School and a 2006 graduate of Iowa State University with a bachelor of science degree in agricultural business. She is a financial officer for Farm Credit Services of America in Ottumwa.

The groom-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Van Buren High School and a 2007 graduate of Iowa State University with a bachelor of science degree in environmental science. He works for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Bureau in Wapello.

The wedding is planned Saturday in Fairfield.
