New bake-your-best cookie contest at the County Fair
A cookie contest will be held at the Washington County Fair this year, Wednesday, July 16 at 5:45 p.m. on the Lions Stage (behind the schoolhouse which houses the Open Class Entries). Two classes of cookies will be judged: chocolate chip and oatmeal. ?Best Cooking? entries will be limited to one per class and must include three cookies on a 7-inch white paper plate. A cookie contest will be held at the Washington County Fair this year, Wednesday, July 16 at 5:45 p.m. on the Lions Stage (behind the schoolhouse which houses the Open Class Entries). Two classes of cookies will be judged: chocolate chip and oatmeal. ?Best Cooking? entries will be limited to one per class and must include three cookies on a 7-inch white paper plate. Cash prizes will be awarded. Entry for juniors will include ages 10 to 18 and adults 19 and up. Entries will be accepted at 5:30 p.m. prior to the contest.
Celebrity judges will be Myron Graber and David Waite.
