New London High School Class of 1963 holds reunion

There we are...the New London High School Class of 1963 when we gathered for our 60th class reunion recently at the Ashford Park clubhouse in Mt. Pleasant. What a beautiful facility. There was lots of laughter...and good food. Thanks to the committee for an outstanding 60 year reunion.

We missed all the class members who couldn't be with us. There were 45 in our class and about 14 started kindergarten together. Sixty years since high school graduation. Can you believe it? In some ways it seems like yesterday. The members present shared many wonderful school memories and had such fun!

We had a special time celebrating the 15 class members we have lost over the years, with memories shared of each one by members in the class.

A special trivia game was enjoyed, with many surprises coming from the answers.

Comments like, “I think this was one of our best reunions ever. I am guessing you just learn to relax at the 60th class reunion. I do know it was a calmer reunion than in years past! Guess we have all slowed down a little... but, to me we will all always be about 18”, and “what a wonderful relaxing way to celebrate being out of school 60 years”.
