The parade at 1 p.m. will honor VFW Post 7641 and Auxiliary’s 75th anniversary. Prizes will be awarded for the top three parade entries. Entry forms are available at VFW Post 7641.
VFW Post 7641 will host the other afternoon activities, including a 1 p.m. bags tournament, followed by a 2 p.m. coloring contest for children and food available such as maid rites, beans, chips and lemonade or water. The VFW’s bar will be open.
Complimentary hot dogs will be given to all parade participants, and the public is invited to join in for anniversary cake.
