New London to host veterans brunch Sunday

VFW Post 7641 Auxiliary will host a brunch to honor veterans from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8 at 802 E. McKinley in New London. The brunch is a free-will donation. The proceeds will benefit the Henry County Freedom Rock fund. A quilt raffle and T-shirt sale for this project will be held.
The honor guard will present a short bugle and rifle ceremony at noon. Social distancing and proper COVID prevention procedures will be followed.
