New members inducted into WACO National Honor Society

WACO High School is pleased to announce the newest members inducted into the National Honor Society on April 22, 2019.
Current members: Caitlin Sells, Joe Edeker, both class of 2019, and Gabe Reichenbach, Laney Graber and Tanner Cowell, all class of 2020, helped induct the newest members Monday night in the traditional induction ceremony.
Those inducted are:
Class of 2019: Kristen Conley, daughter of Steve and Wendy Conley, of Wayland
Class of 2020: Elizabeth Birchfield, daughter of Frank and Lori Birchfield, of Swedesburg; Angie Callejas Moran, daughter of Christian Moran and Cinthia Callejas; Nikolas Coble, son of Jay and Carrie Coble, of Crawfordsville; Sierra Gillis, daughter of Anna Gillis and Roger and Jill Gillis, of Crawfordsville; Rebecca Lynn, daughter of Dave and Wendy Lynn, of Brighton
Class of 2021: Laurie Ackles, daughter of Keith and Cory Craig, of Mt. Pleasant; Will Edeker, son of Chad and Amy Edeker, of Wayland; Layne Kiefer, son of Tim and Robin Kiefer, of Crawfordsville
Members apply based on national guidelines and are selected by WACO staff. The members demonstrate and agree to uphold the guiding pillars of the National Honor Society which are: Character, Scholarship, Leadership and Service.
High School Principal, Mr. Tim Bartels was the Guest Speaker of Honor and spoke to the NHS members about the importance of believing in themselves.
