The center is a resource for the community with free access to FamilySearch.org, Ancestry.com, Fold3.com and Findmypast.co.uk and other ancestry search websites.
Sixteen high-speed computers are available for use, all with free access to the major sources of genealogical records.
A large flat screen, high-definition television also is available, featuring multiple training classes for potential researchers and stories of individuals who have connected with records of their ancestors.
Training classes will be offered as announced at www.familysearch.org/learn/wiki/en/Nauvoo_Illinois_Family_History_Center
Elder Merlin and Sister Joy Price of Shelley, Idaho, will assist the director of the center, Martin Daly. The Prices previously served in centers in Idaho and Utah. Daly and the Prices are all experts in genealogical research.
