Newlon celebrating 103rd birthday Sunday
Mary ?Margaret? Rusk Newlon of Fairfield will be celebrating her 103rd birthday Sunday with her family.
Mrs. Newlon was born March 2, 1911, in Kirkwood, Ill., the daughter of Fred and Edna Stevenson Rusk. She is a longtime resident of Fairfield, as was her late husband Willis Newlon.

Mary ?Margaret? Rusk Newlon of Fairfield will be celebrating her 103rd birthday Sunday with her family.
Mrs. Newlon was born March 2, 1911, in Kirkwood, Ill., the daughter of Fred and Edna Stevenson Rusk. She is a longtime resident of Fairfield, as was her late husband Willis Newlon.
Mrs. Newlon has one daughter, Mary E. Fleig of Fairfield, and one son, the late Robert Newlon. She has five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She also has three brothers, Fred Rusk of Parker, Ariz., and John Rusk and Dale Rusk, both deceased.
Mrs. Newlon worked at Jefferson County Hospital for several years. She is a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Fairfield.
