The United Church Women met on Friday, March 4, 2016, at the United Church of Crawfordsville for the World Day of Prayer Service.

The United Church Women met on Friday, March 4, 2016, at the United Church of Crawfordsville for the World Day of Prayer Service.
The Ainsworth Community Church Women joined them and there was a total of 13 ladies present.
Clarissa Malmberg was in charge of the program on Cuba. Malmberg was assisted by Ruth Erwin and Pauline Richardson, and several others did readings. Cuba is divided into three sections and the national flower in the Butterfly Jasmine. Pauline Richardson and Billie Jo Rose served refreshments.
Fifteen people attended the Wyman Community Club luncheon at the Frontier, in Washington, at 11:30 a.m., on Monday, March 7, 2016.
Attending were Frieda Finke, Ruth Erwin, Billie Jo Rose, Robert and Lucille Humphreys and Fern Clang, all of Crawfordsville; John Wittrig, of Winfield; Vivan and Eileen Jennings, of Winfield; Ruth Johnston, of Ainsworth, Wilma Vosburg, of Grinnell; and Al and Adeline Sents, Joann Love, Jane Kaczinski, all of Washington.
The club will meet again Monday, April 4, 2016, at the Frontier.
United Church of Crawfordsville clean-up day will be Saturday, March 19. Work will be done outside, as well as inside. Windows will need to be washed, furniture dusted and general cleaning.
Several walls have already been painted and the rest will be finished after Easter.
