The regular meeting of Chapter L of the National TTT Society was held Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, at the Olds United Church of Christ.
The meeting was called to order by President Sharon Bright by leading the group in singing the Sword of Gold. Bright also gave the meditations reading from the book, ?Chicken Soup for the Woman?s Sole.?

The regular meeting of Chapter L of the National TTT Society was held Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, at the Olds United Church of Christ.
The meeting was called to order by President Sharon Bright by leading the group in singing the Sword of Gold. Bright also gave the meditations reading from the book, ?Chicken Soup for the Woman?s Sole.?
Roll call was answered with 17 members present telling about their favorite flower. The minutes of the previous meeting were also read and approved with no additions or corrections.
Marlys Fear, corresponding secretary read the vision for 2025, which surrounded what the group can do to increase membership and awareness.
A thank you was read from the Iowa Association for what the chapter accomplished in 2015, and a reminder that every chapter receives a visit from the Iowa officers every 10 years.
The treasurer?s report was given by Lisa Kempf and will be filed for audit. Also, a reminder from the State Treasurer that non-delegates going to the State Convention need to make their checks directly to the State Chapter and not Chapter L.
Nancy McGohan reported that camp registration packets had been received. Other correspondence had been received regarding camp.
It was reported that a card had been received from a previous camper and Christmas cards had been sent to last year?s campers.
Leah Woline reported for the Ways and Means Committee that the Chapter will bus tables at the Mt. Pleasant Pizza Ranch on Wednesday, March 15, and she will also contact Washington Pizza Ranch to see if a date can be scheduled with them. She will contact the company on Butter Braids and have order forms at the next meeting.
The 2016 programs were handed out by President Bright. Pat Miller and Robin McClanahan will be hostesses for the March 28 meeting and Jen Slagle will have meditations.
The Sunshine Fund was reported on as well.
State Convention will be held at Cedar Rapids April 15 and April 16. Nancy McGohan and Barb Shelman will be delegates, with Woline as an alternate.
The next meeting will be held on Monday, March 28, at the United Church of Crawfordsville.
In other news, 10 members and guests attended the White Cloud Club ?Date Night? on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Sassy?s, in Wayland.
In attendance were Lennis and Eldon Beichter; Carrie Coble; Jolene and Andy Colthurst; Frieda Finke; Joyce Huff; Pauline and Floyd Richardson; and Virginia Sands.
One Secret Sister gift was received. Wanda Schultz will be hostess to the next meeting on Tuesday, April 5.
