Hillsboro City Wide garage sales will be held June 5 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and June 6 starting at 8 a.m. Lunch will be served in the Community Center on both days.

Time is running out to reserve tickets to the Hillsboro Reunion on Aug. 1 at the Houghton Knights of Columbus Hall. To reserve tickets for $15 each, send checks to Kay Vandenberg at 1473 140th Avenue, Donnellson, Iowa 52625 by July 1, 2015.

The reunion is for all graduates of the Hillsboro School, anyone who has attended Hillsboro School and anyone who lives, or has lived in or around Hillsboro can attend the reunion. It will be a time to reminisce with classmates, remember old times and have fellowship with previous and current residents of the Hillsboro area.

Doors will open at 3 p.m. and dinner will be served at 5 p.m. Roast beef, mashed potatoes, salad, green beans, rolls, dessert cake, coffee, tea and water will be on the menu.
