Drake University in Des Moines announced the students to earn a spot on its spring 2021 dean’s list and president’s list.

Marshalltown Community College announces graduates

On Friday, May 7, graduates of Marshalltown Community College took their next step as they became alumni of the college. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, MCC was unable to have an in person ceremony to honor the graduates. A virtual ceremony was presented to celebrate the graduates. Graduates listed below represent those who completed their degree or diploma work during the fall 2020 term and spring 2021 terms.

WASHINGTON: Dillan Alan Sanders (Certificates in Powerline Basics & Powerline Advanced Skills Training), and Brody James Wagner (Certificates in Powerline Advanced Skills Training & Powerline Basics, Diploma in Utility Technician)

Washington’s Giardino graduates from Hawkeye Community College

Isabella Giardino of Washington graduated from Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo this past spring with an associate of applied science degree in dental hygiene. Giardino received high honors, meaning she had a grade point average between 3.75 and 3.99.
