No meals served Monday at Fairfield schools

Fairfield Community School District has listed its lunch menu for the coming week.

Elementary schools:

Monday ? no school.

Tuesday ? breakfast: breakfast pizza. Lunch: BBQ rib on a bun, baked beans, side salad with dressing, raisins.

Wednesday ? breakfast: blueberry bread. Lunch: orange chicken, rice, California blend vegetables, baby carrots, frozen fruit cup.

Thursday ? breakfast: breakfast bun. Lunch: pizza, honey-glazed carrots, cauliflower with dip, fresh fruit.

Friday ? breakfast: build-your-own yogurt parfait. Lunch: chicken alfredo, garlic toast, steamed broccoli, celery sticks, fresh fruit.

Breakfast at the elementary schools also includes milk, juice and fruit, and lunch includes milk.

Fairfield Middle School:

Monday ? no school.

Tuesday ? breakfast: breakfast pizza. Lunch: BBQ rib on a bun or meatball sub on a bun, baked beans, side salad with dressing, raisins.

Wednesday ? breakfast: blueberry bread. Lunch: orange chicken or egg roll, rice, California blend vegetables, baby carrots, frozen fruit cup.

Thursday ? breakfast: breakfast bun. Lunch: Pizza Ranch pizza or salad bar, honey-glazed carrots, cauliflower with dip, fresh fruit.

Friday ? breakfast: build-your-own yogurt parfait. Lunch: chicken alfredo or lasagna roll-up, garlic toast, steamed broccoli, celery sticks, fresh fruit.

Breakfast at the middle school also includes milk, juice and fruit, and lunch includes milk.

Fairfield High School:

The high school?s menu was not available before The Ledger?s deadline. Check the Fairfield Community School District?s website at www.fairfieldsfuture.org.

Breakfast at the high school includes PopTart, chocolate-chip breakfast bar, mini doughnuts, and cereal. Lunch also offers the Trojan Express with deli sandwiches, Uncrustable PBJ, chef salad with roll, fruit and yogurt box with roll. The Sides include romaine salad with dressing, fresh garden bar, fresh fruit, and milk.
