No shave November brings in more than $3,000 for local nonprofit
WASHINGTON - Local officials in Washington County finished up the 2019 no shave November campaign with a total raised of $3,170.00. They had 18 participants this year from different departments to include Washington County sheriff deputies and jailers, Washington police officers and Washington County conversation park rangers. Since starting the program in 2013 they have raised a total of $20,390.77. This years donations went to local nonprofit Hawkeye Cans for Cancer.
