Noah?s Ark launches ?Beat the Heat? for female cats

Noah?s Ark and Caring Community Spay Neuter Assistance Program are offering a special program for female cats this March and April.

?Beat the Heat? will offer both female cat spay and FVRCP vaccination for the low price of $25. The cost of these services typically ranges from $80 to $125 or more. CCSNAP has funding to subsidize 100 surgeries during the promotion.

To take advantage of this offer, call Fairfield Animal Hospital at 472-6983 and schedule an appointment, asking for the special rate. Cats should be 5 months or older.

Fixing female cats in the early spring will prevent litters. Each summer, Noah?s Ark has a waiting list of up to 250 cats needing homes. Fixing females before they start having litters can reduce the number of homeless cats in the community.
