Norma Dunbar to turn 100

Long-time Washington County resident Norma Dunbar will turn 100 years old on Sept. 4.
She will be surrounded by family and friends, including her three daughters: Gail Ott, Mary Kucera and Narda Wall.
Born in Tipton, Dunbar spent much of her life in Brighton, where she moved to in 1959 after marrying Leo Dunbar. She later moved to Solon. She worked at Tipton State Bank and for attorney B. Maxwell.
Her favorite activities include button club, PEO, refinishing furniture and gardening.
An open house will be held to celebrate her birthday from 1-6 p.m. Sept. 4 at her home in Solon, at 502 Plum Street. A light lunch will be provided.
