Northups celebrate 45th wedding anniversary
George and Vicki Northup of Ollie observed their 45th wedding anniversary Oct. 26 and will celebrate with a trip to Cancun, Mexico, in December.

George Henry Northup and Vicki Lynn Lynch were married Oct. 26, 1968, in the Ollie Baptist Church.
The Northups have three children: Brenda and Scott Wells of Ollie, Lil George and Steph Northup of Charleston, S.C., and A.J. and Laura Northup of Denver, Colo. They also have three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
George Northup retired after working 30 years at John Deere Ottumwa Works and owns UpNorth Auto. Vicki Northup is a homemaker and is office manager for UpNorth Auto.
