Northups to celebrate 70 years

On Oct. 1, 1950, Billy Northup and Wilma Van Orsdall, on their way to California, were married in Las Vegas, Nevada. The California adventure did notlast long. They quickly moved back to Ollie, Iowa, and landed out on Tic Ridge.

The couple has four boys: Norm (Sharon), Phil (Lynn), Bill (Lisa), and Bo (Julie); seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Due to COVID-19, Billy and Wilma have been kept safe by restrictions on visitors and visitations living at Deer View Assisted Living Center. A celebration will be planned at a later date after the restrictions have been lifted. If you would like to congratulate them by card or letter, their address is:
