The Ollie Big Day July 28 started off with all-night softball games, with the Bud Kely team being the winner.
The parade was announced by Norm Northup and Tom Woodard. The baby contest, organized by Katie Conger Sands and Chelsea Lanphier, had six entries. Bella Design donated to the contest, and everyone won prizes.
Raffle winners were: Gary Northup, a 32-inch TV from Sigourney TV and Appliance; Robert Molkenthin, a quilt made by Effie Fowler; and Austin Uphold, a 45 caliber weapon donated by Alan Paxton.
American Pie preformed in the afternoon, and Junior Tally performed in the evening. There was a big turnout even with the rain.
Volunteers included Dixie Jasper and Aimee Sivak who prepared the food for the ballgames and the Big Day.
Two microphones and cords were misplaced. If found, return them to George.
