Open Class exhibits needed for 2016 county fair
Entries are wanted for the Open Class Division of the Washington County Fair. Some of the many classes are art and photography, all crafts, all types of needlework and quilts, woodworking, culinary, flowers, vegetables, and plants as well as dried arrangements. The largest vegetable contest will be held again this year.

Entries are wanted for the Open Class Division of the Washington County Fair. Some of the many classes are art and photography, all crafts, all types of needlework and quilts, woodworking, culinary, flowers, vegetables, and plants as well as dried arrangements. The largest vegetable contest will be held again this year.
Entries can be brought to the old schoolhouse building on the fairgrounds on Sunday, July 17, from 3 to 5 p.m. or on Monday, July 18, from 9 a.m. to noon. There is an entry fee per article. To avoid waiting in line, please complete the exhibit entry listing found on the Washington County Fair website: http://washingtoncountyfairia.com. Judging by Shannon Greiner will begin at 1 p.m. with premiums for first and second place and rosette ribbons will be awarded.
Exhibits should be picked up at 8 p.m., Thursday, July 21.
