Open class exhibits needed for county fair

Entries are wanted for the Open Class Division of the Washington County Fair. There are numerous classes of hobbies ? art and photography, all crafts, all types of needlework and quilts, woodworking, culinary, flowers, vegetables, and plants as well as dried arrangements. The largest vegetable contest will be held again this year. These entries can be brought to the old schoolhouse building on the fairgrounds on Monday, July 20, from 9 a.m. to  noon. There is an entry fee per article. Judging by Shannon Greiner and Sue McClellen for photography will begin at 1 p.m. with premiums for first and second place, and rosette ribbons will be awarded.
