Open house to celebrate 70th anniversary
Donald and Ethel Dayton are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Sept. 21, at the Washington Golf and Country Club.
The couple requests no gifts, but cards and memories would be welcome.
The event is being hosted by Dan Scalf and their many nieces and nephews.
Ethel Scalf and Donald Dayton were married Sept. 21, 1944, in Cedar Rapids.

Mr. and Mrs. Dayton owned and operated Dayton Beauty Salon, Burlington Beauty Academy and Keokuk Beauty Academy. They would love to see their many former clients and employees.
