Optimist essay winners announced
The Optimist Club essay first-place winner is Hannah Black (right), daughter of Deb and Tom Black. In second place is Quinn Buckingham (center), daughter of Deb and Roger Buckingham. The theme of the contest was "Optimism should be a priority." The JOII sponsor Jennifer Crumley is also pictured.
The Youth Appreciation Dinner was held at Washington High School on April 15.
