Organizations thank Women’s Circle

Eleven members of the Presbyterian Women's Circle met on March 13, 2019, in the Campbell Room of the United Presbyterian Home. Co-Leader Karla Maxwell conducted the business meeting. Julia Gamon was the hostess for the morning. Esther Bordwell gave Inspiration and Betty Beenblossom led devotions. Correspondence was read from several organizations thanking the Circle for donations in the past year.

Julia Gamon reported on Corresponding Missionary Tom Johnson and Kitch Shatzer reported on the Callisons in Iraq. The PW Spring Workshop will be held in Bettendorf on April 13, 2019. The local PW Salad Luncheon will be held on May 1, 2019, at the church and the Synod Gathering will be in Ames June 20-23, 2019. Deb Helmick gave an overview of the February lesson and Janice Twinam presented the March lesson.

The next meeting will be April 10, 2019, with Kitch Shatzer as hostess, Kay Hall will have the lesson and Deb Helmick will give devotions.
