OT beer tent a disappointment
To the editor:
As a native of Mt. Pleasant, I don't know who I'm more disappointed with: the City Council or the Old Threshers Board, for their decision to allow beer sales at the reunion. Threshers was one of the last bastions that did not allow alcohol at their family-friendly functions. Why must we have alcohol at gatherings in order to have a good time? I hope those involved will reconsider their decision for ...

Threshers was one of the last bastions that did not allow alcohol at their family-friendly functions. Why must we have alcohol at gatherings in order to have a good time? I hope those involved will reconsider their decision for next year and again have an alchohol-free event.
