Ottumwa schools receive Trees for Kids grants

Schools are Eisenhower Elementary, Evans Middle School and McCarroll Early Learning Center. More than 17 different species will be planted in order to increase the diversity and health of the urban forest canopy.
Trees for Kids is a tree education and planting program designed to educate students about the value of trees and to encourage tree planting projects around the state.
