OUR SPECIAL KIDS
Our Special Kids, a new support group for parents of children with disabilities in southeast Iowa, will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Mount Pleasant.
The group meets the third Thursday of each month. This month, guests from Southeast Iowa Case Management, Charles Rossitter and Allison Lee, will discuss the waivers available to special needs kids, what Case Management is and how to qualify and also other services that they offer.
A time for parent interaction and exchange of information is planned. Refreshments and child supervision will be provided.

SOUTHEAST IOWA SINGLES
Southeast Iowa Singles will have dinner and a dance Saturday.
The dinner will be at 6 p.m. at Pizza Ranch.
The dance, open to the pubic, will be from 7:30-11 p.m. at the Fairfield Eagles Club. Scottie Goben will provide the music.
Southeast Iowa Singles is a nondenominational group of singles ages 20 and older sponsored by First United Methodist Church of Fairfield. Plans for the group are to provide support, both personal and spiritual, through social activities organized for single adults and their families. It is an opportunity for making new friends and socializing.
