Outstanding Performance winners invited to perform

    The Iowa High School Music Association has extended an invitation to Washington High School vocalists Tyler Lynch, Brad Crone, Brian Langr and Caleb Boyd to perform for their Annual Outstanding Performers? Showcase.  

    These students were selected for an Outstanding Performance Award for their quartet performance in this spring?s IHSMA State Solo and Ensemble Contest.  It is because of this award that they were chosen to perform their contest selections on Tuesday, May 12, at the Music Building on the campus of Iowa State University in Ames. 

    Only one Outstanding Performance Award may be given from each contest center in the State Solo and Ensemble Contest.  Performances by all of the state?s high school musicians who received Outstanding Performer awards were presented in a special recital scheduled from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. in performance rooms of the I.S.U. Music Building.
