P. Buckley Moss show to be held
The annual P. Buckley Moss show will be held Friday, Oct. 21 and Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Kalona Historical Village, 715 D Avenue, sponsored by The Village Shoppe. Moss will be available from 1 to 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 21 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22, to meet collectors and sign her work. There is an admission fee charged for the show.

Moss Country Friends Chapter of the P. Buckley Moss Society is planning a charity dinner and auction with internationally known artist, P. Buckley Moss, on Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Kalona Historical Village. The dinner ends her two-day Kalona show.
The evening begins with a social hour at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m. followed by an auction. The limited reserved seating tickets can be purchased at The Village Shoppe in Kalona or by calling 319-656-3853. Attendees will also receive a complimentary black and white Moss print. Proceeds from the dinner/auction will be used to benefit local children?s charities and the Moss Children?s Foundation.
Some of the auction items include the quilted wall hanging, ?Buggy,? which was painted by P. Buckley Moss and quilted by Pearl Yoder; wine basket; Hawkeye basket; Kalona Basket,;Breast Cancer basket, Iowa State lighted wine bottle; set of three clowns; framed Moss prints; and Longaberger baskets ? to name a few of the items.
Following the dinner/auction Pat Moss will draw the winners of the Moss Country Friends raffle. Prizes are a remarked framed print ?Days Gone By? valued at $725 and a Moss plate, ?The Christening.?
