Paint Washington En Plein Aire Event to be held in June

The second Annual Paint Washington En Plein Aire Event, an out-of-doors painting competition, runs Friday through Sunday, June 7, 8, and 9.

The competition is open to all interested artists. They will create completed paintings of locations within the city of Washington. There are three parts to the competition; a nocturne painting Friday evening (a new addition to the event), an all-day painting session on Saturday, and a Sunday afternoon ‘quick paint' allowing artists only two hours to create a masterpiece. Judging begins Sunday at 3 p.m., followed by awards and sale of the paintings. Art Domestique Gallery is hosting the event which is sponsored by numerous local businesses.
