The first sign of the start of basketball season is finally here. Matchups for the 10th annual Iowa Wesleyan College High School Jamboree have been announced for this November.
The jamboree will feature some of the best high school girls? basketball talent in the area. All four Henry County teams will be in action once again.
The jamboree will be on Monday, Nov. 14, and each game will be two quarters long.
The night will start off with New London playing in their home uniforms against Wapello, at 6 p.m.
In the only matchup not featuring a team from the county, Keokuk will play Danville at 6:40 p.m. The Chiefs will be the home team in that one.
Winfield-Mt. Union will be in their visiting uniforms and face Ft. Madison in their game, starting at 7:20 p.m.
WACO will play at 8 p.m., against West Burlington. The Warriors will be in their home uniforms.
Mt. Pleasant will close out the night against Columbus Community. The Panthers will be the home team for that contest.
The night will be a tune up for the regular season, which is set to start less than a week after the jamboree takes place.
