Panther boys place fourth

WASHINGTON ? The Mt. Pleasant boys' golf team picked up a fourth-place finish on Saturday in the Washington Demon Invitational. Seven teams competed in the event. Mt. Pleasant shot a 352, finishing behind Washington (317), Pella (324), and Oskaloosa (337).

WASHINGTON ? The Mt. Pleasant boys? golf team picked up a fourth-place finish on Saturday in the Washington Demon Invitational. Seven teams competed in the event. Mt. Pleasant shot a 352, finishing behind Washington (317), Pella (324), and Oskaloosa (337).
Trace White had the best day for the Panthers, shooting a 75 on the day. He shot a 40 on his front nine and a 76 on his second nine to finish third place individually.
Brevin Wilson shot a 85, shooting a 44 on his front nine and a 41 on the back nine. Jake Moffett shot a 40 on his front nine and a 48 on his back nine to finish at 88.
Austin Buckert shot a 56 on the front nine and a 47 on the second nine to shoot a 103 on the day. Grant Goody shot a 50 and a 59 to finish at 109, and Evan Folker shot a 60 and a 62 to end the day at 122.
The Panthers will be at another tournament on Tuesday, April 24, when they head to Oskaloosa for an invitational beginning at 2 p.m.
