Panther boys take home triangular

In their last meet before Tuesday?s Southeast Conference championship, the Mt. Pleasant boys took down a couple of SEC teams on Friday night.
The Panthers won thier home triangular with a 161. Washington placed second with a 170 and Ft. Madison was third, at 201.

In their last meet before Tuesday?s Southeast Conference championship, the Mt. Pleasant boys took down a couple of SEC teams on Friday night.
The Panthers won thier home triangular with a 161. Washington placed second with a 170 and Ft. Madison was third, at 201.
Jeff Cox took first place overall in the meet. He made birdie on both the fourth and sixth holes and finished at an even par 36.
Second place went to Washington?s Jacob Van Osdol, who finished with a score of 38.
Bailey Shelledy had a nice night for Mt. Pleasant, shooting a 40 for third place overall. He made birdie on the par-five sixth hole.
Trace White placed fourth overall with a 42. Trevor Mabeus, Riley Kempker and Jake Moffett all finished at 43.
The Panthers will be right back at home on Tuesday, May 9, for their next meet, which is the SEC championship.
All five conference schools will be in action starting at 9 p.m., at Mt. Pleasant Golf and Country Club.
