Parents as Teachers playgroup planned Monday evening

Parents as Teachers will have a social connection playgroup from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds Activity Building.

Activities will include a spider web matching, spider sensory box, leaf pounce, football kicking, fall cookie decorating, apple counting, corn shelling, Play-Doh play and other P.A.T. fall playgroup favorites.

Hay Bales 4-H Club members helped plan the event and are helping with some of the activities.

The playgroup allows young children opportunities to interact with other young children and provides parents an opportunity to chat and connect with other parents of young children, as well as an opportunity for them to observe their child?s development skills and social interaction outside their home.
