Park Place celebrates 5-Star rating with Open House

Mount Pleasant — The public is invited to help Park Place celebrate its 5-Star rating by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Join us for a special open house on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 401 S. Van Buren Street, Mount Pleasant. The Open House will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. with lunch served from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. This is an opportunity to tour the facility, meet our caring team, and learn more about the quality care provided to Park Place residents.

A 5-star CMS rating indicates a nursing home is "much above average" quality, based on its overall performance in health inspections, staffing, and quality measures. Facilities receive a combined, weighted score in these three areas, with 5 stars representing the highest performance level on a scale from 1 to 5 stars. This rating system helps consumers compare nursing homes to make more informed decisions about care.
