Pat Coen presented Quilt of Valor
Superintendent of the Burlington School District Pat Coen was presented the Quilt of Valor made by the Iowa State Stitchers on Nov. 1.
Before Coen gave a presentation about his service in Afghanistan as an army colonel, he was presented with the quilt by Jane Messer, member of the Iowa State Stitchers.
The event was a meeting of the Henry County Retired School Personnel Association.
