Paul and Pat Bates to celebrate 70th anniversary
Paul and Pat Bates of Fairfield will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, Nov. 27. A family dinner is planned to celebrate.
Patricia Courtney and Paul Bates were married Nov. 27, 1949, at the First Christian Church in Fairfield. Paul farmed for 25 years and was a feed salesman for 30 years.
They have two granddaughters, Brenda Bisgard (Darrel) of Fairfield and Paula Adam (Mike) of Richland. They also have eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
