Peggy E. Ross

Peggy E. Ross, 63, of Osceola, died on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, at Southern Hills Care Center, in Osceola.

In accordance with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A joint graveside service with her mother, Betty Smith, will be at 10:30 a.m., on Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, east of Douds, with Rev. Phil Ross officiating.

Memorials to Zion Bible Church may be left at the cemetery or mailed to the family at 4505 Belmont Road, Downers Grove, Illinois 60515. Pedrick Funeral Home, in Keosauqua, is handling the arrangements.

Ross was born on Aug. 5, 1952, in Fairfield, the daughter of Murl A. and Betty M. Gray Smith. She graduated from Van Buren High School. She married Harold Ross.

She was employed by the Department of Defense until she retired.

Ross is survived by a sister, Beverly (Joe) Schafer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ross; and her father, Murl Smith.
