Pekin presents ‘Little Mermaid’
PACKWOOD -- Pekin High School will present 'The Little Mermaid” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and3 p.m. Sunday at the school.
Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students. Tickets are currently on sale in the high school office.
The play is based on the animated 1989 Disney film of the same name and the classic story by Hans Christian Andersen about a mermaid who dreams of the world above the sea and gives up her voice to find love.
The cast includes:
Adalia Keith as Sebastian, Hailey Criswell as Ariel, Brady Latcham as Prince Eric; Simeon Buie as Flounder;
Kaya Baker as Ursula; Cole Earnest as King Triton; Shannon Seager as Scuttle; Kamryn Fears as Chef Louis; Zach Wise as Flotsam; Rich Nissen as Jetsam; MaKenzie Dahlstrom as Grimsby; Orion Weber as Pilot;
Kira Smith as Aquata/Princess No. 1; Sammi Reinier as Adella/Princess No. 2; Avery Phillips as Arista/Princess No. 3; Bailey Lamansky as Atina/Princess No. 4; Hailey Phillips as Allana/Princess No. 5; Tieraa Adams as Adrina/Princess No. 6;
Orion Weber, Tyler Reynolds and Dustin Adams are chefs; Choral Entsminger, Jaidyn Elder, Lilly Conger, Jalen Adams and Michayne Weber are maids; and Eden, Kendra and Haley V. (no last names given) are seagulls.
