Pence honors September Superstars

Pence Elementary School recently honored its September Trojan Superstars.
'Our September Trojan Superstars are those who exemplify Trojan Traits: Respectful, Responsible & Safe, in and out of the classroom,” said Pence Principal Angela Jones. 'We are honored to recognize these leaders within each class.”
2T- Lucas Huff 'has worked consistently hard every day! He is always trying his best. Lucas is a good role model for all students. He is a kind friend to all and helps out when needed. Lucas does the right thing no matter if anyone is watching! He helps pick up our classroom and offers to be a helpful friend to others without asking. He is responsible and takes pride in his work. He is an eager learner and loves to learn new things in our PLTW Science and Math.”
2H- Alyssa Keller 'is one that I can always count on to be doing the right thing. She works extremely hard at whatever she is doing. She is kind and respectful to adults and her peers. She doesn't ever hesitate when asked to help with things and shares her enthusiasm for learning with everyone around her. She really makes our classroom a better place.”
2B-Hayden Fulton 'is always kind and respectful to other students and adults. Hayden is a great friend to everyone. She is always polite and is willing to work with everyone. She is a good role model for all students. Hayden always tries her very best, is a good listener, and always turns in her homework on time. She follows all the rules on the playground and in the classroom.”
2J- Jaycie Bakker 'is respectful with everyone she meets. Jaycie is kind and always ready to help a friend that is in need. I can count on Jaycie to be a role model for others. She is a very responsible student. Jaycie is always working hard to do her very best. She is dedicated to learning and is excited to try new things.”
2M- Gage Markle 'has consistently been a positive role model to the students in our classroom. Gage works hard both independently and with groups. He can focus on the task until it is completed. When I look at my line, Gage is showing his Trojans Traits and is ready to go.”
3H- Sydney Stremsterfer 'is respectful of the adults and students in our room by always using kind words and offering to help others in need. Sydney is responsible about working quietly and making sure she gives her best effort to all assignments. She plays and works safely on the playground and in the classroom. Sydney's joyful spirit and kind heart are evident in the smile she shares with everyone in our classroom every day.”
3He- Taryn Roemen 'is a dependable leader who begins each day with the end in mind. She takes pride in her work and ability to put first things first. We appreciate Taryn showing up everyday with a Win-Win attitude. She is a thoughtful friend who radiates positivity and respects all learners in our classroom. Taryn consistently goes out of her way to encourage classmates and support their growth. She gives her best effort and is eager to come up with creative solutions.”
3F- Elysia Diaz 'is always volunteering to help out in the classroom or to help a classmate. She comes every morning with a smile on her face and is ready for the day. She is respectful to her school by keeping it clean. Not only does she make sure her area is tidy, she makes sure the whole room is tidy! She is a responsible student by always trying her hardest, and asking questions for clarification. She does what is asked the first time. Elysia is always willing to raise her hand and share her ideas. Lastly, Elysia is safe by following expectations in the hall, the lunch room, the playground, and of course the classroom.”
3L- Braezyn Stutzman 'is respectful to everyone in our class and raises her hand when it is appropriate to share ideas. Braezyn shows responsibility each day by returning her homework, taking care of her supplies, and following directions in a timely manner. She follows the trait of being safe when she is playing outside with friends.”!
3R- Kevin Brown 'follows directions quickly, helps others nearby, and does it all with kindness. He is prompt and shows his eagerness for learning by nearly always having a book in his hand. It is obvious that those around him look to him as a wonderful role model. There is never a moment that Kevin does not have a smile on his face, and it brightens the day of all around him.”
4P- Kaylee Lacey is 'always has a smile on her face and is ready to learn. Kaylee always stands in line, ready to go, with her voice off and facing forward. Kaylee uses her manners throughout the entire day. Kaylee loves to help others and follows directions the first time. I can always be sure to find Kaylee doing what is respectful and responsible in my room.”
4N- Gage Hartman 'has a positive attitude and is so kind. Gage is eager to help with any need in the classroom. Gage stays on task and works well with everyone. He follows directions and is attentive to the lesson. He is respectful, responsible, and safe around the building.”
4F- Liana Rodriguez: 'When I give directions to my class, Liana is following them. This shows respect and responsibility. She pays attention, answers questions, and is a hard worker. Liana is someone I can depend on to work well with others too. She helps her partners and also treats them with kindness. Liana is such a nice person to be around. Her kind personality and great work habits are awesome qualities to have!”
4R- Sarayu Tejada 'is a great role model in and out of the classroom. She always has a positive attitude. Sarayu is very Responsible, Respectful, and Caring classmate. She is always ready to answer a question or add on to someone else's answer. She is a leader and a friend to everyone! I can rely on Sarayu to be on task and ready to go at any moment.”
4T- Corbin Starr 'is always showing his trojan traits both in and out of the classroom! While in the classroom, he is always on task and ready to learn. Corbin helps others whenever he can! He is respectful, responsible and safe everywhere he goes. Corbin is always going above and beyond to help! He is a fantastic role model to his peers in class as well as others in the school.”
