Performing arts festival plans Trivia Night
OTTUMWA ? The American Gothic Performing Arts Festival will host its second annual Trivia Night April 5 at the Hotel Ottumwa to benefit the organization?s upcoming summer festival.
Teams of 10 people each will compete in 10 rounds of general knowledge trivia with 10 questions per round. Prizes will be awarded to the top-scoring teams, and teams can enter a 50/50 cash raffle during select rounds.

OTTUMWA ? The American Gothic Performing Arts Festival will host its second annual Trivia Night April 5 at the Hotel Ottumwa to benefit the organization?s upcoming summer festival.
Teams of 10 people each will compete in 10 rounds of general knowledge trivia with 10 questions per round. Prizes will be awarded to the top-scoring teams, and teams can enter a 50/50 cash raffle during select rounds.
Competitors can register as a team of 10 or as individuals. Individual competitors will join other individual competitors to create their team of 10.
The cost for the event is $30 for single tickets and $250 for a table or team of 10 registering together.
The event ticket includes complimentary beer, wine, hor d?oeuvres and sweets from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Trivia competition begins promptly at 7:30 p.m., followed by a dance at 9:30 p.m. featuring local band SEZ WHO.

The American Gothic Performing Arts Festival is an educationally based nonprofit organization celebrating the performing arts, specifically musical theater, during its annual summer festival. The organization will present ?Pump Boys and Dinettes,? ?Hairspray,? ?The Wong Kids in the Secret of the Chupacabra, Go!? and ?Billy Goat?s Gruff? in June and July.
