Gene and Pat Miller attended a Petersen cousin's reunion on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Czech Museum in Cedar Rapids.
A presentation was given about the history of the Czech people by museum personnel and a fim was shown about the history of the museum.
The museum was toured and then the family gathered and the Petersen and Chalupsky genealogy was reviewed and stories were told. A powerpoint presentation was given by Gene's brother, Zen.
A box lunch from Dostal Catering with kolaches was enjoyed by all.
In the afternoon, everyone was invited to Gary and Lisa Petersen's in Robbins to visit and enjoy pizza for supper.

WACO C.R.O.P. DRIVE
This will be held October 1 to October 29, 2023. This year's goal is $34,00.
C.R.O.P. provides funds for those who need it most, both around the world and here at home. C.R.O.P. assists the U.S. and millions of people around the world as they struggle with hunger and need from conflicts like what Ukraine is experiencing. In addition, donations help with other natural disasters, such as
hurricanes, tornadoes and fire victims across the nation. Twenty-five per cent of proceeds will be used within our own WACO Community.
The WACO Ministerial Association oversees distributions, with funds going to the WACO Food Pantry.
