Photography exhibit opening at Indian Hills Community College
OTTUMWA ? Photos from Costa Rica to the mountains of Wyoming and many points in between will be featured in a one-artist show coming to the Indian Hills Community College Art Gallery.
Dennis Ferns of Gibson will showcase his talents in the one-artist show from Jan. 16 through March 15.
The public is invited to the exhibit?s opening reception from 7-8:30 p.m. Jan. 16. Refreshments will be served.

OTTUMWA ? Photos from Costa Rica to the mountains of Wyoming and many points in between will be featured in a one-artist show coming to the Indian Hills Community College Art Gallery.
Dennis Ferns of Gibson will showcase his talents in the one-artist show from Jan. 16 through March 15.
The public is invited to the exhibit?s opening reception from 7-8:30 p.m. Jan. 16. Refreshments will be served.
Ferns? interest in photography goes back to his childhood. The Indian Hills graduate says composing a photograph is no different from composing an art work from any other artistic medium. His photographs are full of dynamic line and form, vibrant color and beautiful locations.
Viewers will see photos from the tropical beaches of Costa Rica to high alpine scenes in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming. Ferns? photographic eye allow viewers to explore some of the most beautiful landscapes in North America.
The Indian Hills Art Gallery is in the Ottumwa campus library at 525 Grandview Ave. The gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 8:40 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays.
