Pidgeon family reunion

The family of Charlie and Uvena Pidgeon held a reunion June 20 - 22, 2017, at Crooked Creek Christian Camp, south of Washington.

Three of the remaining four original children were present ? Elsie Craig, of Salem; Dorthy Zuber, of Nevada, Mo.; and Clara and Norm Watts, of Nampa, Idaho.

There were 15 grandchildren attending ? Norene and Marvin Septer, of Fairfield; Diana Craig and Wayne Stewart, of Salem; Kathleen and Reg McEwen, of Vernal, Utah; Anita and George Kilbury, of Nampa, Idaho; Alyce McEwen, of Fairbanks, Ala; Lenora Reaves, of Denton, Texas; Mauritta Zuber, of Richards, Mo.; Andie Fitch, of Pittsburg, Calif.; Jennifer Wolf, of Nampa, Idaho; and Charlene Metsker, of Dubuque. One great-grandchild, Karen Zager, of Salem, Ore., was present. And two great-great grandchildren, Brody McEwen, of Fairbanks, Ala.; and Sadie Zager, of Salem, Ore.

The younger crowd did some sightseeing in Burlington on Wednesday. The oldest generation had high school friends, Irene Thompson and Jeanette Trueblood, visit them at camp Wednesday afternoon.

Plans for the next reunion are underway to meet on the Oregon coast in 2019.
