Pink Party awards scholarships
RICHLAND ? The Richland Pink Party for a Cure has announced the 2012 recipients of its academic scholarships.
With the continued generous support of the entire community, the group was able to offer three $1,500 scholarships to individuals who have been affected by breast cancer and who are studying a healthcare-related program.

With the continued generous support of the entire community, the group was able to offer three $1,500 scholarships to individuals who have been affected by breast cancer and who are studying a healthcare-related program.
This year?s recipients are:
Erica Henkle-Williams of Oskaloosa, who is attending Indian Hills Community College for nursing; Tyson Lamb of Ollie, a 2012 graduate of Pekin High School, who plans to study physical therapy; and Brooke VanHouweling of Oskaloosa, a 2012 Oskaloosa High School graduate who plans to study nursing.
